The leasehold of a building which is home to a popular Manchester restaurant has come on the market.

Specialist firm Christie & Co has brought the leasehold of the building on Liverpool Road, currently home to contemporary Italian restaurant Cibo to the market.

The restaurant occupies a prominent just off Deansgate and is close to a variety of shops, bars, and the Hilton hotel.

Set across two floors, the modern venue offers an open plan trading area on the ground floor for 80 covers and further dining space on the lower ground floor for an additional 40.

Alongside the substantial capacity inside, the venue also provides outside pavement seating for 30 covers.

Currently open from 8:30 every morning, the business captures the daytime and evening trade.

Due to its prime location, the restaurant sees exceptionally high footfall and opportunities for passing trade.

Current owner Chris Buckley is looking to sell the leasehold of the business having relocated to Lancashire.

He said: “I have thoroughly enjoyed operating in Manchester City Centre and meeting some great people over the past six years, but I have made the decision to focus my attention in different areas.”

Keith Stringer, Director at Christie & Co based in the Manchester office, comments, “The location of the restaurant is paramount, and this opportunity could scarcely be improved.

“Being sited within such close proximity of Deansgate and with excellent transport links, we would expect the property to attract significant interest from both independent and group operators.”

3-11 Liverpool Road has been brought to the market through Christie & Co on a leasehold basis at an asking price of £95,000 with an annual rent of £50,000.
