North West business champions choose Crowe as audit advisor

The North West Business Leadership Team (NWBLT) has chosen the Manchester office of national audit, tax and advisory firm Crowe to provide audit services.

NWBLT’s mission is to make the North West the UK’s best region in which to do business, work and live for generations to come.

Its executive office is based at Sci-Tech Daresbury, Warrington, and the influential group is led by chief executive Emma Degg.

Ms Degg said: “The NWBLT brings together leaders of national and international businesses with substantial commitments and interests in the North West of England.

“Working together, we seek to lead, inspire and harness the power of business to help deliver sustainable prosperity for our region.

“Our professional advisors need to share and understand this commitment, and we were impressed with the insight into our specific business that Vicky Szulist and the team from Crowe demonstrated.”

Crowe partner, Vicky Szulist, who led the winning proposal, said: “NWBLT’s membership includes highly impressive businesses across the North West.

“It exists to champion a clear, distinctive and inspirational vision for the region’s long term future and articulate the views of major business leaders on key issues which make a real difference to the regional economy.”

Key sectors championed by the organisation’s business leaders include skills, productivity, science and innovation and transport and infrastructure.
