Duchy Homes secures land in Alpraham for houses and community facilities

Alpraham site layout

New homes and community facilities are proposed for the farming village of Alpraham by house builder Duchy Homes after it secured land on Nantwich Road.

The two parcels of land to the south of the A51 between Nantwich and Chester already have outline planning permission for residential development and Duchy Homes is now preparing its reserved matters submission for 29 high quality family homes, including six affordable houses.

The proposed plans have been designed to include the provision of a new Parish Hall, a community orchard and improvements to the existing playing field.

Not only will the site provide much-needed new homes for the Cheshire village, but it will enhance the facilities for all residents.

Alpraham has a rich agricultural history and new residents can look forward to joining the fantastic community spirit in the area, enjoying two public houses, a bowling green, horse riding facilities, regular social events, an annual village day, and more.

The surrounding area also boasts amazing attractions, beautiful gardens, stunning stately homes and spa hotels.

Nearby in Bunbury and Milton Green, Duchy Homes has already delivered two developments at The Grange and The Paddock, which it says showcases its ability to deliver contemporary new homes with architectural prestige.

A planning decision is expected for the Alpraham site by the end of the year, with construction planned to commence in early 2019.
