Duchy Homes aiming to build in region

DUCHY Homes, part of construction and energy company the GMI Group, is to expand its operations in the North West.

The Leeds-based Group has announced that it has launched a new North West division of its award winning, luxury house building company, Duchy Homes.

Ian Honeybill has been appointed as managing director of the division which will operate from offices at Manchester Business Park adjacent to Manchester Airport.

Honeybill has extensive experience working in the house building sector and spent 20 years working at Barratt Homes. Most recently he has been working as a property consultant before accepting the Duchy Homes role.

Honeybill said: “Last month Duchy Homes was awarded the accolade of the Best Builder in Yorkshire and North East by the National House Building Council (NHBC). Duchy Homes is synonymous with luxury and we hope to replicate this success in the North West.”
