Quorum and Cabot complete speculative development of warehouse in Crewe

Work has completed on Q110, a speculative 111,287 sq ft high bay warehouse in Crewe, which is currently the largest industrial unit available in the area.

Developed by joint venture partners, Cheshire-based property company Quorum and Cabot Properties, a private equity real estate investment firm, Q110 fronts the A532 Weston Road and is available to let from £6.25 per sq ft.

The self-contained building, which sits on a six acre site was built by Caddick Construction and is adjacent to the 92,000 sq ft warehouse that Quorum acquired and immediately let to Warehouse One last year.

Paul Cook, director of Quorum, said: “Crewe continues to thrive as an industrial and logistics destination due to it’s position on the M6 and also the rich history of manufacturing companies based in the town.

“However, there remains a lack of supply of good accommodation in the vicinity – particularly units over 50,000 sq ft.”

He added: “This was the last development site on Weston Road and, based on discussions with occupiers so far, we are confident that this new building will attract significant interest.”

Knight Frank and Legat Owen are the retained joint letting agents.
