Employees at the Wallasey-based insurance supplier Auger are reaping the rewards of the company’s profit-sharing scheme as they celebrate its best-ever year with revenue rising at more than 22%.

Turnover for the firm increased from £7.9m last year to £9.7m for the most recent financial year.

All employees have taken home four-figure bonuses equating to between 7.5% and 10% of their salaries.

The specialist insurance supplier for drainage and water pipe claims has posted a record-breaking performance as the company continues to grow and take on new insurance clients.

Dave Brewster, managing director of Auger, said: “We have always shared our profits with the staff and this year I am delighted to be able to share our record performance with this exceptional team.

“We always go the extra mile for our customers. I’d really like to thank all of the staff for their efforts, and one way of making sure their work doesn’t go unnoticed is to reward them financially.”

Founded in 1994, Auger has expanded to employ more than 120 people as a specialist serving the UK-wide insurance industry for drainage and water mains claims across the UK, with more than 70 highly-qualified engineers on the ground.

Auger says that, as well as attractive salary packages and a profit share bonus, the benefits of working for the fastest growing drainage company in the UK also include a training programme for all staff through the company’s academy, with the opportunity of qualifications in subjects including engineering, account management and IT.
