Whittle Jones, agents acting on behalf of Northern Trust Company, have announce that AMTD (Alison Meadows Training & Development) has chosen The Beehive as its preferred training location.

AMTD has been providing first aid training courses for more than 12 years, and has scheduled its 2019 training dates to take place at the three-storey office building in Blackburn.

Managing director Alison Meadows said: “Our move to the Beehive and its professional facilities is a great fit for our business and an exciting start to our year.

“We are a small local company and therefore able to be highly competitive in our market, however we can still offer a full suite of first aid courses to meet the needs of a range of customers.

“We also offer train the trainer qualifications, and manual handling programmes.”

The Beehive has recently undergone an extensive refurbishment programme to provide modern meeting room facilities, a new large break out area and reception area, in addition to a range of modern flexible office suites from just 179 sq ft, for two persons upwards.

Work on the second phase of works to create additional smaller office suites on the ground floor is now under way.

Beehive Centre manager, Donna Jackson, said: “We are delighted that we were able to meet the needs of AMTD and provide them with the ideal facilities for them to host all of their 2019 training schedule.

“The Beehive is ideally located, adjacent to the beehive roundabout at the entrance to Shadsworth Business Park.

“With Junction five of the M65 in close proximity, the office scheme benefits from excellent transport links to the wider motorway network with Preston 13 miles away and Manchester within a 40 minute drive.”
