Anwyl Homes Lancashire has acquired around three acres of land on Ladybank Avenue in Fulwood, Preston, for a new residential development.

Taking inspiration from Mason’s Wood, which is widely recognised as one of the UK’s finest bluebell woods, the new development will be known as Bluebell Meadows.

Bluebell Meadows will provide 34 high quality new-build properties with a range of four bedroom executive family homes to choose from.

Each property will be thoughtfully designed to offer aesthetically attractive exteriors while boasting a modern interior that reflects the latest in living trends.

Enhancing the development further are the picturesque green footpaths and cycle trails that adjoin Bluebell Meadows.

Anwyl Homes Lancashire purchased the land from Homes England, and having received planning consent already has made an immediate start on site.

John Grime, managing director at Anwyl Homes Lancashire, said: “We continue to source some of the best plots in Lancashire and are thrilled to have worked with Homes England on this particular plot in Fulwood.

“The plans for Bluebell Meadows look superb and we are looking forward to getting started on site.”

Nicola Elsworth, head of public sector land for Homes England in the North West, said: “We are committed to working with SME developers like Anwyl Homes to take forward development opportunities.

“Their acquisition of the three-acre site on Ladybank Avenue will provide much needed high quality new homes for the local community.”

In addition to the new development Anwyl will make a number of significant financial contributions to the locality, including a Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) and £157,000 towards education.

Anwyl will open the showhomes at Bluebell Meadows in November, with first occupancy expected early 2020.
