Liverpool Science Park (LSP) has welcomed a spate of new lettings, customer expansions and team promotions, since Sciontec Liverpool took the reins in March this year.

New customers moving into LSP include Innovation Agency, which has taken a 1,054 sq ft space, and XMA Investments, with Liverpool Health Partners, StrucSoft Solutions and BioGrad all expanding within the estate.

Land, who opened their pop-up coffee shop at the end of last year, also continue to grow within the reception of ic1 and have proved an unprecedented success with the LSP community.

Innovation Agency chief executive Dr Liz Mear said: “We are looking forward to working more closely with our partners in Liverpool Science Park, in particular the Clinical Research Network North West Coast and Liverpool Health Partners.

“I believe that being co-located will bring many benefits, connecting staff in relevant programmes and providing lots of opportunities to share ideas and find new ways of working together for the benefit of the region.”

As the dynamic team at LSP continues to rise to the challenge of transforming LSP under the new leadership of Colin Sinclair, chief executive of Sciontec and Knowledge Quarter Liverpool (KQ Liverpool), three new promotions have also been awarded.

Leanne Katsande is now head of commercial, Philippa Lee is head of asset management and, most recently, Emma O’Hara has been promoted to senior finance manager.

Colin Sinclair, said: “The team at LSP have responded brilliantly to the challenges of the last few months, working tirelessly with their Sciontec and KQ Liverpool colleagues to secure these new lettings and expansions.

“Their passion for success, whilst being absolutely focused on customer service and bringing new amenity to the buildings, is infectious and makes LSP a great place to work.”

LSP said that, with further big announcements expected in the coming weeks, it is likely that the three LSP buildings, totalling 120,000 sq ft, will near full occupancy for the first time in its history.
