Social conscience based bank opens office in Manchester

A bank with a social conscience has announced it is opening an office in the North West.

Birmingham based Unity Trust Bank has opened an office for its customers in the North West.

The Hub will be on Deansgate in Manchester city centre providing a central location for its North West business portfolio.

Four relationship managers and two commercial banking officers dedicated to supporting small-to-medium sized enterprises with access to financial support, will be based at the new office.

For more than 30 years the Birmingham headquartered bank has worked with SMEs that share its values and philosophy of driving social change, offering a full range of banking services including current accounts, savings accounts and loans.

Highlights in 2018 include loan approvals exceeding £200m and drawn loans exceeding £100m. The bank has raised £11.3m of new capital in 2018 to support its rapid growth.

The new North West of England Hub for Unity Trust Bank is located at Centurion House, 129 Deansgate, Manchester. M3 3WR.
