BusinessDesk.com teams up with Everton for lunch event

Everton's proposed new stadium

TheBusinessDesk.com is teaming up with Everton Football Club for its upcoming lunch.

We are holding an event which will look at plans for Everton’s long-awaited stadium.

This is a fantastic opportunity to meet the team behind the club’s new £300m home.

The 52,0000 all-seater stadium at Bramley-Moore Dock is set to have a major economic impact on Liverpool.

The project is also a key part of the Liverpool Waters regeneration scheme – which is set to change the face of Liverpool’s historic waterfront.

The audience will get to hear from two of the key players in the project on the progress that has been made, what comes next and the impact the ambitious project will have on the city region.

The event is taking place at Everton’s home Goodison Park on Friday, November 8th from 12pm until 3pm and demand is expected to be high.

The speakers at the event will be:

Colin Chong

Colin Chong is project leader on Everton’s new £300m stadium at Bramley-Moore Dock.

He was appointed to his newly-created role of stadium development director after what the club said was “a recruitment process spanning many months”.

He helped to deliver a number of major stadium projects around the country over his 35-year career in construction.

Everton’s £300m stadium is planned for Bramley-Moore Dock as part of the wider £1bn Liverpool Waters site.

Richard Kenyon

Richard was appointed director of marketing and communications at Everton in January 2014. Later in June 2018, he took on an expanded role to become director of marketing, communications & community as well as the position of chief executive of Everton in the Community.

He arrived at Everton from Kenyon Fraser which – initially as managing director and then as chief executive – he built into one of the leading marketing and communications agencies in the North and one of the fastest-growing in the UK.

A lifelong Evertonian, his role is to oversee and drive marketing, insight, corporate communications, PR and media functions, fan services and the club’s fan centre.
