Everton FC stadium lunch just two weeks away

Everton's proposed new stadium

With just over a fortnight to the event, interest is rapidly building in our Goodison Park lunch featuring the team behind Everton FC’s exciting new stadium plans.

The BusinessDesk.com lunch is a fantastic opportunity to meet the people responsible for delivering the Premier League club’s new £500m home.

The 52,0000 all-seater stadium at Bramley-Moore Dock is set to exert a major economic impact on Liverpool.

The project is also a key part of property giant Peel’s Liverpool Waters regeneration scheme – which is set to change the face of Liverpool’s historic waterfront.

The audience will get to hear from two of the key players in the project on the progress that has been made, what comes next, and the impact the ambitious project will have on the city region.

As part of the plans to create the new stadium there will also be opportunities to regenerate North Liverpool and deliver a community-led legacy at the club’s famous Goodison Park home.

The event is taking place at Goodison Park on Friday, November 8, and demand is expected to be high.

The speakers at the event will be Colin Chong and Richard Kenyon.

Colin is project leader on the club’s new stadium scheme at Bramley-Moore Dock.

Colin Chong

He was appointed to his newly-created role of stadium development director after what the club said was “a recruitment process spanning many months”.

He has helped to deliver a number of major stadium projects around the country over his 35-year career in construction.

Richard was appointed director of marketing and communications at Everton in January 2014.

Later, in June 2018, he took on an expanded role to become director of marketing, communications & community as well as the position of chief executive of Everton in the Community.

Richard Kenyon

He arrived at Everton from Kenyon Fraser which, initially as managing director and then as chief executive, he built into one of the leading marketing and communications agencies in the North and one of the fastest-growing in the UK.

A lifelong Evertonian, his role is to oversee and drive marketing, insight, corporate communications, PR and media functions, fan services and the club’s fan centre.
