Spate of lettings caps successful month for Bolton property firm

Riverside Industrial Estate

Family-owned and run business Millfield Estates has enjoyed a successful month after a spate of new lettings at two of its Greater Manchester sites.

Located in Bolton, the now fully-let industrial property Riverside has welcomed food wholesale business Tahir4 Supermarket to its 2,198 sq ft Unit 4, with the firm signing a three-year lease worth £18,000 per annum.

Events firm Gingerbread Events has moved into the 1,044 sq ft Unit 11 at a cost of £8,550 pa, while long-term tenants The Stained Leaded Glass Company have re-committed their future to the property for the next five years.

Elsewhere, Millfield’s Longford Trading Estate in Stretford has also secured three new lettings, including Goddard & Staines (Coach Craft), who have moved into the 5,580 sq ft Unit H2, on a five-year lease worth £29,300 pa.

Signing three-year deals, respectively, Annie James Trading has also moved into the 4,292 sq ft Unit D3, with CE Asset Management moving into the 4,224 sq ft Unit H3, with their combined rents generating £47,100 pa.

Paul Dobson, property director for Bolton-based Millfield Estates, said: “We are very proud to report this exciting stream of deals across two of our North West industrial estates.

“Whilst the current political uncertainty may be creating stormy waters, we are sailing resolutely on, delivering high quality accommodation in an attractive package that draws in new tenants and enables us to retain existing occupiers.”

He added: “Whilst Riverside is now fully let, one unit of 14,476 sq ft remains available at Longford Trading Estate, but hopefully not for much longer.”

The lettings at Longford Trading Estate were brokered by Julien Kenny-Levick of chartered surveyors and property management experts Roger Hannah.
