AIM-listed printing business appoints group finance director to board

Manchester-based printing firm Grafenia has appointed Iain Brown to its board as group finance director.

Simon Barrell has stepped down as interim finance director but will continue to serve on the board as a non-executive director.

Prior to joining Grafenia in October 2019, Iain was group financial controller of the software company Myriad Group AG which, until April 2018, was listed on the Swiss Stock Exchange.

After graduating from Leeds University Iain joined the audit practice of Baker Tilly UK, qualifying as a chartered accountant in 2012.

Grafenia chief executive, Peter Gunning, said: “First we’d like to thank Simon for his work as interim finance director whilst we completed our search for a permanent candidate.

“We’re pleased to have him continue as a non-executive director and support Iain in his new role.
