Fast-expanding social media firm celebrates new starters and top audience figures

It’s Gone Viral, the Manchester-based social media marketing company, has signed a three-year deal to take office space at Urban Splash’s Beehive Mill space in Ancoats.

The firm has also made two key internal promotions and has reported its highest ever NewsWhip results.

The new 1,000 sq ft office space is now home to It’s Gone Viral’s 20-strong team of content creators, analysts and video producers who work across its campaign strategy and content distribution teams.

Headcount has doubled in the past six months.

Co-founder Andrew Trotman said: “The business has grown massively over the past year so we knew that we had to relocate to attract the best talent in the industry.

“Beehive Mill is the perfect location and there are options for us to take out additional space as and when we need it.”

The firm has also promoted Paige Tucker and Josh Jones to content managers; both joined the business just over a year ago. Prior to It’s Gone Viral, Paige worked at LADBible Group, while Josh was head of social media at Hunter Media Group.

Andrew said: “Paige and Josh are integral to the company so their promotions are hugely deserved.

“The success of It’s Gone Viral is based squarely on the creative and strategic thinking of our team and we are determined to develop and grow this talent from within.”

As well as the new office and promotions, It’s Gone Viral recently secured its highest ever Facebook NewsWhip rankings after being named number one in the Best Engaged Audience category for the previous six months.

From its 3,797,115 page likes it achieved 37,406,888 interactions.
