After investing £3m into creating a state-of-the-art self-storage and workspace facility, Storage World’s third location is now officially open at Airport City, Manchester.

This new location will serve individuals and businesses across the Hale Barns and Wilmslow areas, as well as provide storage for those frequenting the airport on a regular basis.

Following the success of its Manchester and Middleton storage facilities, Storage World has opened its third facility in the region in response to growing demand for storage, with enquiries to the business almost doubling year-on-year.

The new location will broaden Storage World’s reach to those further afield and appeal to those that import and export goods via Manchester Airport.

Located just a two-minute drive from junction six of the M65 and a stone’s throw from the airport, the store currently houses around 500 individual storage units with plans to expand in the future.

Available units vary in size from 10 sq ft to 1,500 sq ft to meet a range of customer needs and the site itself spans more than 68,000 sq ft.

Managing director Marc Studholme said: “We’re very excited to announce the opening of our latest and most modern storage facility yet.

“The opening of this new location in Manchester’s Airport City will provide modern and convenient storage and workspace solutions to a whole host of people and businesses in the area, expanding our offering greatly across Greater Manchester.

“Our expanding portfolio of storage facilities holds a great reputation for providing top quality, secure storage and workspaces – and this store is no exception.”
