RSK commits to expanding its presence in Northern Quarter location

Real estate advisor Savills, on behalf of Helical, has let additional space at Fourways in Manchester’s Northern Quarter to RSK Group.

Currently located in office accommodation on the building’s second and third floors, the multi-disciplinary consultancy firm has surrendered its existing space on the second floor to acquire an additional 1,905 sq ft on floor three.

The acquisition will take RSK’s total floorspace at Fourways to 6,898 sq ft.

Located on Hilton Street in the sought after Northern Quarter area of Manchester city centre, Fourways is a converted Grade II-listed brick building constructed in 1906.

The property now provides characterful office accommodation over ground and five upper floors totalling 59,000 sq ft and is currently receiving a substantial refurbishment of the reception and vacant office space.

Daniel Barnes, associate director in the office agency team at Savills, said: “We have recently seen a number of occupiers commit to Fourways during the refurbishment works.

“The building is being transformed, but retaining the original features which gives it a true Northern Quarter feel.

“In spite of the current uncertainties, RSK has chosen to acquire further space in the building and we hope to announce further transactions soon.”

CBRE is joint letting agent on the building.
