Air freshener brand strikes forecourts deal with major retailer

Designer Fragrances

A scented products brand which recently changed hands has secured an agreement with Morrisons forecourts.

Manchester-based Designer Fragrances sell a range of premium air fresheners.

Morrisons will stock seven fragrances from its car range: J’adore Couture, Black Code, Fresh Linen, Vintage 1957, Classic Ice, Bubble-gum and Royal Oud Leather.

The retail deal follows a breakthrough last year when Blackburn-based garage forecourts giant Euro Garages agreed to stock the air freshener range.

Designer Fragrances is owned by Manchester-based businesswoman Asiffa Gadatra, who recently bought the company from Blackburn-based Shakir Adam.

She said: “We are so pleased to have our products sold in Morrisons forecourts across the UK.

“It really does show that all the hard work we have put into making our brand a household name is finally paying off.

“It’s what any business owner would love to see.”

The deal follows the launch of Designer Fragrances Blast Cans in October 2019.

Featuring a high-pressure blast nozzle, this multi-use air freshener can be used to freshen up everywhere from the home to footwear.

Since January 2020, Designer Fragrances has also bolstered its social media presence, increasing its Instagram followers from 8,000 to more than 18,000.
