Afflecks operating at full capacity after welcoming 14 new traders

Afflecks, the iconic Manchester SME retail space, is operating at full capacity after welcoming 14 new independent traders to the emporium.

The Northern Quarter shopping destination now has more than 70 businesses trading across the building’s four floors.

The emporium welcomed 1.3 million visitors last year, alone.

New additions include alternative beauty, nail art and vintage clothing as well as an Oasis-themed bar and live music venue.

Afflecks general manager, AJ Martyn, said: “We’ve welcomed so many new faces and customers in 2025, which is brilliant to see.

“Even in the face of economic challenges, which are affecting the whole industry, the Afflecks fanbase grows stronger with every year which is testament to the diverse and talented businesses that have made a home in the building.”
