Architectural practice moves to new city centre head office

Manchester architectural practice, MHA Architects has moved its head office to Origin, the newly-refurbished characterful building located in the heart of the city’s traditional business quarter.

The building occupies a prominent position on Spring Gardens and Fountain Street.

Jimmy Lennon, director at the Manchester office, said: “With the recent appointment of a new managing board and, after listening to feedback from our staff, we wanted to choose a modern office that reflects the innovative work that MHA is delivering for our clients and a place that offers a better working environment for our talented and dedicated team.

“MHA has been in the heart of Manchester for the past 45 years.

Manchester has an enviable reputation for innovation and a thriving construction industry and we are committed to continuing to play our part in its future.”

He added: “We considered many office locations, but none met our requirements better than Origin.

“Our new office features a modern, airy, open plan working environment and use of a business suite, allowing more flexible and collaborative working.

“The contemporary break out area, roof garden and gym will provide a healthy environment for the wellbeing of our staff.”

MHA Architects was previously based in Barton Arcade.

The company was advised by John Chapman of Chapman Law and William Henson of Slater Heelis on the legals.
