Marketing agency joins MediaCityUK hub

Social marketing agency, Social Sense, has completed its move into MediaCityUK’s White Tower as it enters an exciting new phase with the delivery of two major projects in the areas of dementia and domestic abuse.

From its new base in the Arrive workspace, the projects will see the creation and launch of a new Lived-Experience wellbeing app as well as a specialist housing project to support the victims of domestic abuse who are ready to move on.

Both initiatives are currently in pilot and are due to be rolled out across Greater Manchester and beyond from October onwards.

Since Social Sense’s launch in February 2011, its programmes have directly engaged more than 200,000 people in the UK and across Europe.

The agency’s established in-house programmes include those to reduce smoking, alcohol, knife crime and obesity.

In 2014, it established a programme to deliver mindfulness at scale, which has now reached more than 20,000 teachers and adults.

MediaCityUK is a joint venture partnership between Peel L&P and Legal and General Capital.
