Serviced office provider adds Manchester in ambitious growth plans

Linley House, Manchester

Serviced office provider Clockwise is to launch its first site in Manchester as part of a big expansion plan to treble the size of its portfolio.

The fast-growing business, which already operates in Liverpool, Glasgow, Edinburgh and Belfast, is targeting 500,000 sq ft by the end of 2021.

It is currently refubishing 28,300 sq ft at Linley House, off Portland Street in Manchester, which will be ready early next year.

By then it expects to have opened the doors to sites in Cheltenham, Leeds and Cardiff before adding several more UK cities, and its first overseas site, in Brussels.

The business has also made a few senior hires, including Alexandra Brunner who joins as chief operating officer.

She said: “As all businesses look not only to survive, but thrive, in the ‘new normal’, the measure of our success will be how well we can anticipate and accommodate members’ needs before they themselves even recognise them.

“In doing so, we will provide much-needed support, now, when it matters most, and in years to come, for the businesses that are the lifeblood of the UK and European economies.”
