Property group adds to portfolio with Cheshire acquisition

Windsor House

Manchester-based Hurstwood Holdings has continued to add to its ever-growing commercial property portfolio with the acquisition of a 4,000 sq ft office building in Knutsford, Cheshire.

Windsor House is a three storey, self-contained modern building, situated in the heart of Knutsford town centre and is fully let to Kids Pass Limited.

The building was sold for an undisclosed sum with a net initial yield of nine per cent.

Stephen Ashworth, Hurstwood Holdings chairman and chief executive, said: “This is a very attractive building in the affluent suburb of Cheshire with an exceptional internal fit out, so we knew it would make a good long-term investment for us.

“We are currently looking at a number of other investment opportunities nationwide, but we are also keen to expand our presence in South Manchester.”

Williams Sillitoe acted on behalf of Hurstwood Holdings.

Canning O’Neill represented the vendor, a private investor.

Hurstwood engaged Gateleys to act as its legal representation, with funding provided by Rothschild.

Hurstwood Holdings is a commercial and residential property group with more than £160m of property on 100 sites nationwide, housing in excess of 750 occupier clients.
