Housebuilder celebrates breaking new ground at Lowton

Ground broken at Lowton

Family construction firm Edgefold Homes has broken ground at its new site in the village of Lowton near Warrington.

Work is now under way to build 24 homes at Hazelfield Gardens off Heath Lane with plans to officially launch the show homes at the end of the year.

Led by construction director, Jack Seddon, Edgefold Homes has a rich construction heritage in the North West.

Newly appointed site manager, Paul Whittaker, will be responsible for the day-to-day build of the three- and four-bedroom homes which are available in five different styles.

Jack explained: “We are delighted to have begun work at Hazelfield Gardens in Lowton – it’s a really exciting start to 2021 and we hope the buoyant property market will continue.

“We have spent a lot of time designing these homes – they are the first of their kind and this is a bespoke development.

“During the planning stages, we researched how the properties would work for home owners.

“We spent a lot of time getting into the details, to create spaces that meet people’s needs and enrich their lives.”

He added: “As a business, Edgefold Homes is very hands-on and approachable and we look forward to welcoming home buyers onto the site as soon as possible.”
