Repairs specialist recruiting for 102 new roles at its Preston site

Home repairs company, HomeServe, is set to boost staff numbers at its Preston base as it embarks on its largest recruitment drive in the North West.

Over the next six months HomeServe is aiming to add another 102 roles to its Preston team, which currently employs more than 240 people across a number of customer service functions.

HomeServe, which provides nationwide emergency cover for a range of home repairs services including plumbing and heating, is looking to recruit claims advisors to support customers through the entire claims process.

The roles may initially be based remotely in line with the Government’s coronavirus guidance.

Kasia Klunduk, head of recruitment at HomeServe, said: “The key to our ongoing success is prioritising our customers’ needs and ensuring we keep their lives moving when they need repairs on their homes.

“These new claims advisors roles will, without doubt, be essential in helping us achieve that.

“This is one of our largest recruitment drives to date in the North West region, and part of an ongoing commitment to grow our presence in Preston and support the local economy.”

Kasia added: “At HomeServe, we strive to make it a great place for everyone and we have a strong commitment to creating a workplace that is inclusive and diverse.

“We have a culture built on mutual support and empowerment that ensures our people can flourish, something that has been even more important whilst our teams have been working remotely.”
