MBL Group signs new contract with WH Smith
HOME entertainment products distributor MBL Group has signed a new contract with WH Smith, it has been announced.
The Leyland-based group will supply WH Smith’s high street stores with DVDs and BluRay discs in a deal that runs until 2012.
WH Smith currently retails these products in 448 stores nationwide.
AIM-listed MBL Group delivered a strong set of half year results in December 2009 with sales rocketing 124% to £78.2m and profits 39% to £3.2m.
It said at that time that the demise of Woolworths was helping to drive its sales.
