DWF in city leadership moves

LAW firm DWF has strengthened its senior leadership team in Manchester and Liverpool by appointing David Pickering and Andy Green to the new role of executive partner.
Family lawyer Mr Pickering, will now be responsible for leading DWF in Manchester, and flying the flag for it in the business community, while real estate specialist Mr Green is moving back to Liverpool from Manchester for his new role.
The North West duo are two of four new executive partners at DWF – others have been appointed to lead the offices in Leeds and London.
Mr Pickering said: “DWF has grown rapidly in recent years through its strategy of investing in expertise and building strengths in key areas.
“I feel the firm is on the crest of a wave and I am happy to be given the opportunity to help drive it forward still further.”
Mr Green said: “I am particularly pleased to be taking over as head of DWF’s operations in Liverpool, where the firm was first founded over 30 years ago.
“Although it has since expanded to encompass locations throughout the country, DWF continues to play an integral part in Liverpool’s business community. Our investment in new offices in St Paul’s Square last year underlines our continuing commitment to the city.”
Andrew Leaitherland, DWF’s managing partner said: “David and Andy are highly respected lawyers and have made a significant contribution to the growth of our business.
“DWF has achieved exceptional growth over the past four years. The appointment of executive partners puts a firm framework in place to strengthen our operation and build on the foundations already established for continued expansion in the years to come.”
