A new venture focused on the residential land sector has been launched with bases in Manchester and Leeds.

Northern Land Agency is headed by Steven Verity and John Dunlop, who boast extensive experience in residential land sales and acquisitions, development consultancy and residential capital markets and commitments.

With, between them, more than 50 years’ experience within the North West house building industry, Steven and John say they have an unrivalled access to the residential market in the North of the UK.

And they say the new business will offer a pedigree team with a corporate background, but with a boutique level of service designed to guarantee every client and every opportunity has maximum exposure to the widest range of markets.

Director, John Dunlop, said: “Northern Land Agency is perfectly placed to know where land is, what it’s worth and who will decide its future.

“Combined with an understanding of the needs of developers and investors, the end result is always the same … the delivery of deal structures and business plans that work perfectly for both.”

The agency will specialise in a highly focused approach in terms of use class, specialism and geography. Whether sale or purchase, funding or research, its priority will lie in maximising the return from clients’ land holdings and identifying and delivering sites with the optimum potential for residential-led development by tailoring solutions to meet specific needs.

Fellow director, Steven Verity, said: “We provide the kind of bespoke consultancy and research packages that are usually the exclusive preserve of larger consultancies.

“We have access to the same data sources that the larger firms enjoy, meaning our packages are tailored to suit each client’s requirements, but with the added focus and market-facing edge John and I can bring as a boutique agency.”
