Creative agency recruiting 20 staff in Manchester office opening

Creative marketing agency Rise at Seven is creating 20 jobs in Manchester through its latest office opening.

The Sheffield-based search-first creative agency founded by Carrie Rose and Stephen Kenwright in June 2019, is expanding to Manchester and has appointed former Missguided head of brand, El Chetcuti, to head up its campaigns team following 190% growth in the past year.

The agency will employ a total of 100 staff with the new Manchester office opening and a Chicago expansion earlier this year.

After signing 24 new clients in the past three months, including Monzo, Tough Mudder, Confused.com, Klarna and more, the group’s Sheffield HQ is also expanding currently, with a new space for 110 staff.

As a result of this, the agency has decided to expand to Manchester to get access to a whole new talent pool of creatives and digital talent. It already has two senior heads of services within Manchester.

Chief executive, Carrie Rose, said: “I am absolutely thrilled to announce that we are expanding our physical presence to Manchester.

“We have just had our second birthday and with the recent addition of some huge clients based in Manchester’s Media City this expansion was the obvious move.

“This is going to mean we can work even closer with them to help build brand, tie search, social and PR altogether.”

She added: “We are quickly expanding and are rapidly closing in on the 100 staff mark based across Sheffield, London & Chicago. Our Manchester office will give us access to the huge amount of talent within the city to help propel the agency globally.”

El Chetcuti will be heading up Rise’s newly-formed cross channel content marketing team offering as well as content strategy to create work that will span across search, content, creative, social and experiential.

The hire is pivotal in Rise at Seven’s ongoing global expansion. It now delivers search, content marketing, digital PR and social media strategies, driving organic growth for brands online in both the UK and US.

Most recently gaining clients across the US and Europe, the roster now features big named brands including Monzo, Klarna, Sole Supplier, Interflora, Nasty Gal and JustMyLook.
