Housebuilder submits plans for key site near university

Plans for the site

St Asaph and Daresbury-based housebuilder Pure Residential & Commercial has submitted a full planning application for a new housing development on an eight-acre site directly opposite the Betsi Cadwalader University main campus at Glan Clwyd Hospital, Bodelwyddan.

The proposed development is offering a range of house types from apartments, two-, three-, and four-bed homes and given the site’s location adjacent to the main A55 coast road, demand for the homes is forecast to be high.

Managing Director, Chris White, said: “We are delighted to be able to have secured this prime site and we have put forward an exciting new development that will see the delivery of top quality homes that the area desperately needs to satisfy demand.

“With the wide range of house types available from us, there is something here for everyone from key worker accommodation through to luxurious, traditional family homes all in a distinctive new house style that this area has never seen before, confirming our position as a progressive, quality housebuilder.”

The application is now in planning and Pure Homes hopes to gain the necessary approvals and commence works on site in 2022.

Pure Residential and Commercial is a privately-owned housing and commercial property developer company headquartered in St Asaph, North Wales, with offices in Daresbury, Warrington, and has a construction pipeline of more than £160m of new developments across the region.

Pure has been building homes for more than 25 years and involved in construction for in excess of 30 years.
