A Liverpool law firm is recruiting for 80 positions, more than doubling its workforce, following its relocation to larger premises in the city centre.

High Street Solicitors specialises in data breach, employers’ liability, housing disrepair, Japanese Knotweed, medical negligence, mis-sold investment, mis-sold pension and public liability.

Previously based in The Cotton Exchange on the city’s Old Hall Street, the law firm has moved the short distance to 1 Tithebarn Street where it has taken 14,875 sq ft of space to accommodate its growth.

The firm currently employs 75 staff, but, following the move and “exponentital growth” over the past 18 months, is now seeking to recruit 80 more people.

Jobs will range from front of house staff to solicitors and heads of department.

Frank Gibbons, senior practice manager, said: “This is an exciting time to join an ever expanding firm that’s utilising the latest in technology and expanding into various new areas of litigation.

“High Street Solicitors aims to be one of the market leaders across the country with our innovative ideas, whilst also keeping the integrity of the English Legal System as our priority.

“We are looking for the best talent within the legal sector to join us and help us achieve our goals and the high standards that our clients expect.”

He added: “The staff are at the heart of the great work we do at High Street Solicitors and we’re looking for like-minded individuals with fantastic work ethics and the drive to achieve.”

As part of the employment drive, the firm is holding a recruitment night at Pins Social Club, Duke Street, on March 10.

The move to Tithebarn Steet enabled the company to provide better facilities for its workforce, including a renovated kitchen and dining area, a dedicated team building area and a training room for new staff.

In the summer months, High Street Solicitors’ private garden will be opened in a large courtyard within the building with astroturf, BBQs and team celebrations planned.
