Manchester technology start-up, SamsonVT, has moved into a new 3,880 sq ft office.

The firm has also made a series of senior hires as it continues to grow.

SamsonVT, which has developed Industry 4.0 solutions that are helping to transform the product maintenance and after sales market, has moved to new office space on Lever Street, in Manchester’s Northern Quarter.

This is now the base for new head of finance, Michael Hill, and head of marketing, Christina Hamilton.

Michael brings more than 15 years of experience in finance for digital and marketing agencies, with a focus on technology to enhance the finance function.

Christina brings 20 years of experience in her field – previous roles include head of marketing at marine insurance company GJW Direct and communications agency Freshfield, respectively.

The business, which has grown its headcount from 15 to 29 in the past 12 months, expects to grow its workforce by 50% by the end of 2022.

The recruitment drive, which is supporting SamsonVT’s aggressive global growth strategy, follows the announcement of $5.1m in seed funding earlier this year. The investment, led by Par Equity with Blumberg Capital, will fund further product development and expansion into new markets.

The current emphasis is on filling several technical and strategy-focused roles, including chief technology officer. The business also recently expanded its Polish team with the recruitment of three new full time developers based in Warsaw.

Sam Burgess, CEO of SamsonVT, said: “This is an incredibly exciting time for the business as we move into our next phase of growth.

“The funding we received earlier this year has enabled us to take some big steps forward in our journey and bring in many talented people that will help us scale and meet demand in new territories. We’ve hit some major milestones in the last six months and we’re now looking forward to a bright future ahead.’’
