Liverpool property solutions provider, Momentum Group, has been appointed to deliver a 100,000 sq ft entertainment complex in the heart of the city’s shopping quarter

In April this year, leisure and entertainment company, Gravity Active Entertainment, announced a £10m investment in the top two floors of the former Debenhams store in the Liverpool One retail centre, along with site owner, Grosvenor.

The site will be Gravity’s biggest venue in the UK and will be the largest multi-purpose entertainment venue in the country.

Bringing together 11 unique immersive experiences all under one roof, The Momentum Group is responsible for the fit-out and delivery of the 100,000 sq ft space creating an immersive visitor experience with e-karting, bowling, street golf and digital darts amongst a raft of other experiences, including hospitality and food and drink.

Speaking on behalf of Gravity, Gareth Buxton said: “The experience, attention to detail and local knowledge that The Momentum Group brings is what we needed for this ambitious project.

“Their flexible approach to the project, network of suppliers and contacts is what makes them unique.”

He added: “There is a growing demand for visitor immersive experiences and this project will bring together a number of complex entertainment units to deliver the revolutionary concept.”

Chris Renshaw, co-founder and director at The Momentum Group, said: “The demand for leisure experiences and pursuits is increasing and we are thrilled to have been appointed to deliver this project. The project is vast and Gravity’s largest in the UK.

“We are delighted to be able to showcase our services and partnership working with the team at Gravity.”

Work is under way, with Gravity due to open in the new year.
