Stylish new Manchester office gives TheBusinessDesk.com room to grow

11 York Street second floor

TheBusinessDesk.com is moving to prestigious new offices in central Manchester.

It is the first company to join the Gilbanks business community at 11 York Street, which was recognised as the best new building outside central London and is the only Grade A new construction in the central business district.

Rolls-Royce SMR and Avison Young will also be tenants in the building owned by Aviva Investors, a division of Aviva plc.

The workspace is designed for task-based and hybrid work to boost productivity and have a professional culture.

In addition, members at 11 York Street will have access to various event spaces, including a sky suite on the eighth level for gatherings with a view of the city.

These facilities may accommodate everything from lectures to fitness sessions.

Lee-J Walker, joint managing director of TheBusinessDesk.com, said: “11 York Street is a great new home for our team.

“The building has embraced the post-COVID era of demands for flexibility and offers the highest quality of service reflective of our brand.

“We look forward to joining the Gilbanks community and meeting other professional businesses.”

Gilbanks also operates a site in Leeds, which is home to TheBusinessDesk.com’s head office. Manchester’s 11 York Street will open in the New Year and offers 22,000 sq ft of workspace with flexible terms.

Alex Duckett, managing director of Gilbanks, said: “I’m pleased to welcome TheBusinessDesk.com as our first member in Manchester.

“It builds on the fantastic relationship we’ve established in Leeds.

“Our offices and business communities are designed to support companies’ growth, and it’s great to be doing just that with TheBusinessesk.com and its plans.”
