Safe cladding contracts boost Intelligent FS

Specialist cladding contractor Intelligent FS is to create 100 new jobs and invest £500,000 in digital technology as work kicks off on a number of multi-million pound contracts.

The Altrincham-based company has appointed Conservative Peer Lord Richard Harrington as its chairman and director, and plans to tackle over 1,000 apartments across the North West of England – retrospectively fitting safe cladding onto residential buildings.

The firm, which will get to work on projects in Manchester, Mansfield and Leeds, says the pipeline of work will create more than 100 construction jobs across the various sites.

Intelligent FS, which enjoys more than 60 years experience in the construction industry, is unique in employing a boutique cladding team to tackle the UK cladding crisis following the Grenfell Tower tragedy in 2017.
