Derelict wasteland set for transformation in £30m gateway development

Widnes developer, Sourced Development Group, has unveiled plans for a £30m apartment block on a gateway to Liverpool city centre.

It proposes to transform a derelict site into modern homes and retail space.

Carlton Court will deliver 123 spacious one- and two-bedroom apartments with two-bed duplex apartments and mixed-use and co-working retail space.

Enjoying a prime location on West Derby Road, the development is a five-minute drive from Liverpool city centre. The communal facilities, for residents’ sole use, feature impressively landscaped gardens, parking facilities with dedicated car parking spaces and secure cycle storage.

Extensive clearance works have been carried out on site by Sourced Development Group as it aims to breathe new life into the area. Working closely with Liverpool City Council, the company hosted vital works enabling the restoration and improvement of the historic Tuebrook waterway that runs to the back of the site and gives the area its name.

Carlton Court is part of Sourced Development Group’s plans to deliver 3,000 homes across the North West over the next three years, including the 310-home Kingsway Square Development and 614-home Westminster Park in Liverpool and the 525-home at Regent Plaza in Manchester.
