Holiday Inn Manchester Airport opens for business
Holiday Inn Manchester Airport has officially opened.
The facility is the closest hotel to Terminal 2 and is also handily located just a few minutes’ walk from both Terminals 1 and 3.
In addition to offering 280 bedrooms, suitable for a range of guests from solo travellers to families, the hotel also features the Holiday Inn’s signature Open Lobby, combining the front desk, lobby, restaurant, bar and lounge in one space.
The ground floor is also home to three meeting rooms with a dedicated arrival welcome desk and pre-function lounge.
There are a range of dining options for guests, with Turkish restaurant Firin at the culinary heart of the hotel.
A modern vision of the traditional Istanbul pide salon, the laid-back luxury interior is centred around a theatre kitchen, with a menu offering traditional Turkish dishes, from open oven baked pide to dips, mezze and grills.
In addition to Firin, guests can enjoy dining in the Open Lobby, which serves a full English breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner and dessert, or for those in a hurry, they can grab a quick coffee and pastry from the hotel’s on-site Starbucks corner.
There is also a full-service bar, offering a variety of drinks and mocktails, and in the spring the hotel will launch its seventh floor roof terrace bar with fantastic panoramic views of Manchester and beyond.
Each of the 280 bedrooms feature floor to ceiling windows and are equipped with coffee and tea making facilities, WiFi, and en-suite walk-in showers.
There is a range of double, twin, family, premium and accessible rooms. The hotel also features a number of pet-friendly rooms and on the southern corner of the sixth floor there is a king suite with its own exterior terrace.
