Benefits business in Stockport centre switch

Employee benefits business Enjoy Benefits has moved to new premises in Stockport town centre, adding further momentum to the commercial heart of the town.

Landlord MCR Property is marketing further office suites in Dale House Stockport to move alongside Gorvins and Enjoy Benefits who have now entered a 3-year lease occupying 3000 square feet of office space.

The 8th floor and the ground floor are also available for lease, said MCR.

Having started out in one room of a mid-terrace house in Heaton Chapel 18 years ago, Enjoy Benefits had outgrown the space where 20+ staff were squeezed into a converted house on School Lane.

Vic Johnston, IT director of Enjoy Benefits, who oversaw the move, said: “Having moved into the larger offices in Dale House, right in the heart of Stockport, this creates the capacity to double the staff, with 2 new employees joining since the move, and it is expected that they will be offering more opportunities soon.

“Moving to a town centre office has also been well received by the existing staff, when listing how many places they could visit on a typical lunchtime, counting stopped at over 50, it is no wonder that Stockport is being hailed as ‘the new Berlin’, with so many great options for lunchtime or after work dining.

“The Enjoy Benefits staff have 3 gyms within 200 yards of their offices, which given that they are an employee benefits company, it is no surprise that the staff have access to discounted gym memberships which are already being utilised.”

Enjoy Benefits helps employers manage the Workplace Nursery Benefit, and other employee benefits packages, for their staff.

“With UK childcare being some of the most expensive in the OECD, being able to take advantage of making savings on nursery costs impacts the ability for parents, and more often than not, mothers, to be able to afford to return to work, and Enjoy Benefits,” Johnston said.
