International adventurers to be hailed at awards

Companies that are successfully trading overseas will be celebrated at this year’s North West Business of the Year Awards.

The annual awards evening is a chance for firms across the North West to shine a light on their achievements and this includes businesses that are trading globally.

The International Trade category recognises those businesses that are entering new markets or achieving significant growth in existing.

Last year’s winner VetPlus, which manufactures popular pet care products, impressed judges with its rapid growth. The Lytham company – part of the Tangerine Group –  took its global presence with exclusive partners or subsidiaries to 42 countries in 2022 after opening a new office in Argentina in November last year.

The company, a global leader in veterinary nutraceuticals, now has a presence in every continent and is targeting further growth with plans to plant its flag in four other South American countries.

VetPlus is just one of many brilliant businesses across the region that, despite challenges with Brexit, have been growing their international footprint.

The North West Business of the Year Awards is a chance for businesses trading internationally to celebrate their growth and achievements.

This year’s awards are backed by headline sponsors PwC, Robert Walters, CMS, LDC, and RBC Brewin Dolphin. Category sponsors include Gillbanks.

There are 15 categories to enter and as with previous years, the Ambassador will be chosen by the judges.

The deadline for entries is 17 March 2023. 

The North West Business of the Year Awards winners will be revealed at TheBusinessDesk.com’s annual celebratory dinner on 18 October 2023 at The Midland Hotel, Manchester.
