Gilbanks grows the professional community at 11 York Street

11 York Street

Gilbanks has signed new up members to its premium work environment at 11 York Street in Manchester city centre.

Commercial building surveyors Bloc is moving its team to the award-winning premises.

They join specialist tax advisory firm Trident Tax who have relocated its Manchester office to benefit from the flexible work environment as part of the firm’s growth plans. Managing director, Alan Kennedy, said: “Trident Tax has been established in Manchester for several years and with our move to new offices, we look forward to further building our connections with the city’s thriving business community”.

The two firms join Morgan Sindall Infrastructure and TheBusinessDesk.com in the growing community, which provides members with a great place to meet like-minded businesses and work productively.

Commenting on the moves, Alex Duckett, managing director of Gilbanks, said: “It’s great to welcome Bloc and Trident Tax to Gilbanks at 11 York Street. We have a lot of interest in 11 York Street and will announce more new members as the opening approaches. It’s clear that Manchester’s professional community is seeking a premium working environment with concierge-level services to provide a better working environment for team members.”

The flexible office space offers 12-month terms and is designed for task-based and hybrid work, designed to inspire younger workers back to the office.

Several event spaces can host large seminars and fitness sessions and a sky suite on the eighth floor to host social events with views over the city.

The building is the only new-build Grade-A building in Manchester’s central business district, having been named the best new build outside of central London and has already attracted Rolls Royce and Avison Young as occupiers. The building is operated by Aviva Investors, the global asset management business of Aviva plc.
