Business growth leads to relocation for carbon and energy consultancy

Envantage team

Carbon and energy consultancy, Envantage, has relocated to bigger offices following a period of significant growth.

The firm has moved from Grange Lane, in Didsbury, to The Towers business park, in the town.

Since the start of the year, the company has recruited eight new staff members in roles across the business, including energy procurement, compliance, and carbon, as well as expanding its IT and data processing operations to a five-strong team.

Envantage’s new 3,840 sq ft home in the Grade II-listed building provides the necessary space to accommodate further growth for the company.

Blending original period features with all the conveniences of a modern office, The Towers offers a range of on-site amenities including a coffee shop, showers, expansive landscaped grounds, a bike store, and free parking.

Envantage’s relocation marks a milestone moment in the evolution of the specialist consultancy, which was established by directors Colin Hindmarsh and Philip Alletson in 2004.

Since then it has grown to a team of more than 40, helping energy-intensive organisations to buy energy effectively, optimise usage, meet regulatory obligations, and decarbonise their operations.

Director, Colin Hindmarsh, said: “As a business, Envantage has seen considerable growth in recent years, both in terms of our team numbers, the range of services we offer, and the scale of the projects we undertake.

“We had outgrown our old premises and wanted a new home that would meet the needs of our expanding team – ensuring that we are providing them with great facilities and a convenient location. We truly get the best of both worlds at The Towers – a beautiful building in tranquil surroundings with the buzz of Didsbury just a stone’s throw away.”

Fellow director, Phil Alletson said: “As well as offering a great place to work for our staff, we are also looking forward to welcoming our clients and the many partner organisations we work with to The Towers. We’re very proud to call it Envantage’s new home.”
