IT recruitment firm eyes growth in its new city centre base

An IT recruitment firm with bases in the USA and Germany, is moving into 10 Chapel Walks in the heart of Manchester.

Amicus Recruitment offers services to businesses from start-ups to global brands on a contract and permanent basis.

It is taking 3,125 sq ft of fitted and furnished space on the part fifth floor of 10 Chapel Walks. Amicus has taken the space on a five-year lease with a three-year break option.

The firm is relocating 30 staff from shared managed workspace into a building that has recently been fully repositioned to meet the needs of modern-day business.

Amicus has worked closely with the landlord, Artmax, to deliver a fully fitted and furnished solution that meets the needs of its team and will provide Amicus with the conditions for further growth

Its new home stands on Cross Street facing St Ann’s Street with frontages to Cheapside and Chapel Walks and is close to a number of city centre restaurants and retailers. The site is also home to occupiers such as Aviva, Total Mobile, and Workman.

Amicus founder, Shaun Connor, said: “We are absolutely thrilled with our new space.
