Plans lodged for five storey seafront scheme

A residential development opportunity on the seafront promenade at Colwyn Bay has been brought to the market with plans lodged for a five storey apartment building.

The property occupies a prime residential position along West Promenade comprising approximately 0.5 acres and is currently used as a boat storage yard.

Commercial property agents Legat Owen says it is one of the last remaining development opportunities on the promenade at Colwyn Bay, an area that has recently been transformed.

The once-aging Victorian promenade has been part of a multi-million-pound investment in the town and is now a shared-use promenade for residents and visitors overlooking an extensive beach.

A planning application has been submitted for the development of a five storey apartment building comprising 18 one, two and three bedroom units with undercroft and external parking. The planning application is awaiting determination.

The property is offered for sale by private treaty, with written offers invited by 5.00pm on 26 September 2024.
