Global biotech company commits to Knowsley business park

Orbit Developments has secured biotech company Associates of Cape Cod to phase two of Academy Business Park in Knowsley. 

Associates of Cape Cod, Inc specialises in endotoxin and microbial detection and will base its UK operations in the Liverpool City Region.

Dennis Dwyer, Divisional Director at Orbit Developments said: “We’re delighted at the success and popularity of Academy Business Park.  With an ideal location in Knowsley, which has a growing business base, it’s no wonder the park has attracted a huge multinational corporation like Associates of Cape Cod, Inc. and we’re delighted that they have decided to join us here. The business park is continuing to grow, and we are creating a mix of modern business units along with other staff amenities on site.”

Academy is primarily a logistics and industrial site and home to over 600 businesses, close to junction 4 of the M57.

Phase two of the development will see the construction of further flexible workspaces within the business park.
