Samsung takes space in Sale for new training and development facility

Samsung office in Cavendish House

Global brand Samsung has taken 4,004 sq ft in Orbit Development’s Cavendish House in Sale.

It will host a new training and development facility for Samsung Climate Solutions, part of Samsung Electronics Air Conditioner Europe B.V. (SEACE).

The building has recently been refurbished with the addition of a cosy Garden Room with a coffee and break out area, along with a new Peloton Suite. For the eco-conscious, there are electric charging stations, promoting sustainable commuting.

Since its first air conditioner in 1974, Samsung Electronics says it has been redefining workplace comfort for every space where people create meaningful experiences together, whether it’s commercial premises or homes.

Dean Richards, Leasing Director at Orbit Developments, said: “We’re thrilled to welcome such a huge and innovative company such as Samsung to Cavendish House.

“This letting follows a very recent letting of a floor and a half (10,494 sq ft) further endorsing the appeal of the building, particularly given the recent amenity provisions installed.”

Samsung joins existing tenants, Thinc and Party Delights, in Cavendish House, with only a small amount of space remaining.

Cavendish House, owned by Orbit Developments, is ideally situated just off junction seven of the M60, yet still within walking distance of Sale town centre.

Sale has recently undergone a regeneration phase, with the area around Stanley Square seeing new independent retailers, and bars, restaurants and cafés.

It was also named one of the best places to live by the Sunday Times.
