Law firm posts another notice of intention to appoint administrators

A Stoke-on-Trent headquartered law firm is facing an even more uncertain future, after posting a fourth notice of intention (NOI) to appoint administrators.

Youngs Law, which has been operating since 1815, had already given three notices, first on July 21, then August 4 and August 18. This gives the firm a 10-day reprieve from creditors.

Around 58 jobs are at risk across the company’s offices in Stoke, Newcastle-under-Lyme, Liverpool, Southampton and Havant.

Staff offered a range of advice on family & relationships, conveyancing, personal injury, medical negligence, mental health, prison law, wills & probate.

Pinsent Masons represented Youngs as it filed each NOI and has not responded to comment.
