Kingswood Homes' Homestead collection

Preston-based housebuilder, Kingswood Homes, has exchanged contracts on a 16-acre site in Whittle-le-Woods, near Chorley, with plans for 85 homes on Hill Top Lane in the village.

The homes will range in size from three- to five-bedrooms and the site will also include affordable housing.

Andrea Fortune, land and planning director at Kingswood Homes, said: “It’s great that we will be bringing on this new site in 2024. This is just one part of our exciting plans for the next year or so for the business.”

Kingswood Homes is currently building homes in Blackburn, Hoddlesden and Elswick.

Ms Fortune added: “Whittle-le-Woods is a thriving community and a popular area to live thanks to the amenities it has close by.

“It also has great travel connections including the M61, M6 and the A6. We’re looking forward to getting started.”

Kingswood Homes offer its Shape Your Home concept that gives buyers the power to choose from a range of floor plans, so they have a home that fits in with them.

Homes at the Whittle-le-Woods site will be built with Shape Your Home available.
