Manchester law firm joins national network following acquisition
A Manchester firm of solicitors has been acquired by national firm, Stowe Family Law, for an undisclosed sum.
Crisp & Co Solicitors is the third recent acquisition by Stowe Family Law, following previous deals for Watson Thomas Solicitors in February this year, and Chapman Pieri in April 2022.
Crisp & Co Solicitors is a specialist family law firm with 17 offices across England, including Kingston, Central London and Manchester.
Stowe said acquiring the business will strengthen its status as the UK’s largest specialist family law firm.
The acquisition will build on its presence in London, adding more than 10 new locations to its portfolio in the capital, and further offices across the south of England, stretching from Brighton to Bath.
The addition of the team will increase the firm’s ability to support clients facing family law issues, including divorce, child arrangements and financial matters, while continuing to offer tailored solutions to meet individual client needs.

Acquired by private equity firm Livingbridge in 2017, Stowe has grown into a network of nearly 80 offices across England and Wales, with more than 160 specialist family lawyers and one of the country’s largest portfolios of family law work.
Stowe Family Law was assisted in the acquisition by Springboard Corporate Finance.
