Wealthy aficionados of the Bentley motor brand can live the lifestyle in a new $1bn US property scheme featuring luxury apartments offering individual garages in the clouds.

Crewe-based luxury car manufacturer, Bentley Motors, has collaborated with Dezer Development to break ground on the first Bentley-branded residential tower in Miami, US, where, pricing starts at $5.6m per unit.

The property is situated on an exclusive stretch of oceanfront at 18401 Collins Avenue in Sunny Isles Beach.

Featuring four innovative car lifts and glass-ensconced sky garages that exhibit cars like art in each of the 216 private residences, the luxury condominium will rise 62 stories and offer sweeping views of the Atlantic Ocean and Intracoastal Waterway.

Harnessing the prestige and heritage of the brand, Bentley Residences will evoke a sense of class, elegance, and sophistication, setting a new precedent for resort-style luxury living on the beach with five-star hospitality and service. Completion is expected at the end of 2027.

Gil Dezer, President of Dezer Development, said: “Breaking ground on Bentley Residences is a huge milestone for the project and another step closer to bringing our vision to life.

“We are excited to introduce a completely new elevated residential experience to Sunny Isles Beach and look forward to continuing the relationship with Bentley Motors to deliver a one-of-a-kind project.”

Designed by Sieger Suarez Architects in partnership with Bentley Motors, Bentley Residences will carefully integrate Bentley’s most distinctive design cues into its architecture and interiors. The iconic diamond-quilted pattern adorning Bentley door panels, for example, will be recreated on the tower’s façade through diamond-shaped glass panels angled meticulously to refract natural light.

As a result, the exterior will glimmer in the sunlight. These same patterns and silhouettes are echoed throughout the building, including the diamond-embossed stone in the primary bathrooms and the diamond-shaped floor tiles spanning the lobby.

Christophe Georges, President and CEO of Bentley Motors, Inc. said: “We are very pleased to celebrate this key milestone in the development of Bentley Residences Miami. A demonstration of our commitment to great design, the development will create a living experience that expresses the very philosophy of the Bentley brand.”

At the heart of Bentley Residences is the patented car elevator that transports both car and passengers from the road directly to a resident’s doorstop in one swift move. The Dezervator, named after its founder Gil Dezer, creates an unparalleled lifestyle for buyers centred around exclusivity and privacy.

The innovation makes three- and four-car sky garages within each residence possible and offers convenient, secure storage for private car collections. Complete with the option for EV charging amenities, these sky garages also provide additional space for storage and small motorised vehicles such as wave runners and motorcycles.

The private homes at Bentley Residences are just as unique and thoughtful as the car lift. They embrace the concept of indoor-outdoor living and offer expansive private outdoor spaces with unobstructed views that stretch the shoreline.

Every individual balcony will have a private heated swimming pool, summer kitchen and generous living area specially engineered to cut through any gusty winds so that residents can easily light a candle even 30 floors in the air.

This ingenuity is continued inside to the home interiors. State-of-the-art kitchens feature Gaggenau appliances, Italian designed cabinetry and motorised doors that hide the space with a wave of the hand, while the primary bathrooms double as home spas with private saunas, behind-mirror TVs and outdoor showers in select residences.

As with the façade, the interiors also feature subtle nods to the Bentley brand. The iconic diamond patterning, as well as its chrome finishes and unique textured door handles, knobs and pulls, are incorporated in small but impactful ways that will resonate with Bentley brand enthusiasts.

Spanning 2.4 acres, Bentley Residences is situated along one of Miami’s most picturesque beaches where residents lead year-round resort-inspired lifestyles.

The tower represents the exciting future of the site’s former Thunderbird Hotel. The property will feature a lushly landscaped beach club and oceanfront pool deck complete with food and beverage service, cabanas and spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean, as well as a 20,000 sq ft collection of amenities, including a whiskey bar, cigar lounge, wellness and revitalisation spa, cinema and oceanfront beauty salon.

Four-time James Beard award-winning celebrity chef Todd English will curate the menu and dining experience for an exclusive private restaurant, which also offers catering, demonstrations, and food and wine pairings to residents.
