City centre boutique hotel hits market priced at more than £3m

A boutique Liverpool hotel is coming to market, via CBRE, with a guide price in excess of £3m.

The Lock & Key Hotel, in the city centre’s Duke Street, is a Grade II-listed Georgian Townhouse has been launched for sale.

The modern, three-storey 26-bed boutique hotel includes a private lounge, vibrant bar and a restaurant on the ground floor and has undergone a recent £800,000 investment.

It is located on a prime entertainment street in the heart of the city centre with nearby occupiers including Pins Social Club, The Brunch and Cocktail Club and Duke Street Market.

The original section of the hotel, at 15-17 Duke Street, underwent a repositioning and extensive refurbishment to deliver a 14-bed boutique hotel.

The current owners expanded into 19 Duke Street in 2023, creating a further 12 high quality bedrooms, taking the total number of bedrooms to 26, leading to significant growth in the hotel’s profitability.
